Describe yourself in a few paragraphs
I am a yoga teacher based in Miami who discovered the practice while living in New York City working as a full time publicist. Teaching since 2011, yoga has become so much more to me than a job or string of poses as it continues to inspire me, encourage me and I am humbled by the ongoing benefits, exploration, and education it provides.
I love teaching many styles of yoga from the creative sequencing of an intelligent vinyasa class, to spending sacred time with expecting mothers in prenatal, gathering props for restorative, and understanding the power of informed breathing in pranayama. I also serve on the faculty for various Yoga Teacher Training programs, offer mentoring, and lead retreats all over the globe.
What are you currently working on?
I am currently developing a line of sustainable yoga props, as I am pretty prop heavy in my teaching and a major advocate of props in your yoga practice.
My next yoga retreat is scheduled for March 2021 in Portugal!
What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?
It’s OKAY to change your mind.
What Routines keep your mind and body Healthy?
I am vegan, it started for health reasons and now it’s really about ahimsa too.
Gua sha my face and neck with jojoba oil or fresh aloe every night.
I try to get in the ocean even if for a quick dip daily.
